Nice day for a contest, plenty of lift, not to much sink. For some reason we had carnage putting two pilots out of the running. Oh well next contest. Our own Daryl was first(he’s been working hard), Rick was second and Tony Gallo was third. Way to go guys. Landing totals found Morgan was first, Tony G was second and Steve W was third.
Next contest will be on September 23 barring any rain storms. Daryl will be CD
Also as a reminder: anyone interested in going to the Fall Fest glider competition in Visalia you need to sign up on the CVRC website or @ rcsoaring.com We have four pilots going as of now and hoping for more. Camping on site. There will be a small ALES only competition on Friday afternoon and an ALES class at the weekend competition. For more info ask Rick or Mike Wilson.
