Cal Poly Aero 121 had a glider event Saturday December 10. The students worked in groups to produce a foam and balsa glider to be bungee launched. Points were awarded for flight duration and weight of pennies lifted. About 100 students created 30+ gliders that either flew or didn’t. Several Sloflyers assisted Ms Kira Abercromby, Instructor, with the event. Thanks to Dave Nowell, Daryl Riekki, Tony Jacobson and Mike Rittenhouse for the help.
