Weather at the field Now

Cuesta College now has a weather station on line.  The station went operational in February.  This is almost as good as having a station at the field.  The station is located near the east end of the runway at our old site at Camp Luis Obispo.  It looks as if wind speed/direction is updated every 30 second or so.  

Remember that the above data as well as the wind data on the home page are snap shots.  You may be looking at a lull in activity.  It would be best to take a look at the activity leading up to the current time to be able to decide if you want to drive out to the filed or not.  The daily log is located here.  Couple this data with the wind forecast below, and you can get a good idea of what is in store for you when you get to the field. 

Other Stations

Two other stations bracket the station at Cuesta College.  One is at Cal Poly and the other just north of Morro Bay.  

The Cal Poly site is updated every 15 minutes.  You can find it here

The Morro Bay station is updated every 15 minutes and has a Wind direction and speed that is up dated every 10 second or so.  You can access that site here
