RC Paper Airplane

A little diversion from the norm, I scaled up this “Paper Airplane” from the classic delta paper airplane folded  from an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of paper. I cut the parts from a 20″ x 30″ x 3/16″ sheet of foam board (available at Michael’s for $2.99). I already had everything else including a Rimfire 370 motor, ESC and a pile of sub-micro servos.  I figured the CG from the actual paper airplane.  RTF weight is 12 ounces with a 3S 850 MAh LiPo. Wing area is approximately 200 sq. in. Who knows if it will actually fly:

One Response to RC Paper Airplane

  1. Mike Rittenhouse says:

Sure it’ll fly. Point the nose straight up, center all surfaces, place brick carefully on nose, full throttle, remove brick.
