Dave Stafford’s PA-22 Tri-Pacer Build Project

Here is some info and pictures of a PA-22 Tri-Pacer project that Dave Stafford is currently building.  Thanks Dave!

If anyone else has a project that they’re working on, please let me know so I can get it on the club website.  You can contact me using the contact form on our site.

From Dave;

I saw your request for project photos, so here’s a few on the 6-foot span PA-22 Tri-pacer I’m currently building.  The kit is manufactured by Mosquito Bite Airplanes of Canada and is about 90% plywood.  This is my first attempt at a scale model and I must say that I’m reallyenjoying the build.  About 3.5 months into it right now.  Ready-to-fly weight should be about 9.5 lbs.  Power will be a Rimfire .80 brushlessmotor with a 6S 5000 mAh LiPo battery.  Plywood kits require lots of clamps!
